Selfmate

A selfmate – sometimes called sui-mate – is a type of chess problem where White forces Black to deliver checkmate against Black's will. For example, in a selfmate in 2 (often abbreviated as s#2), White would first make a move, and Black would be forced to checkmate on Black's second move. Unlike a helpmate, where both sides cooperate to reach the checkmate, in a selfmate, Black has no choice but to deliver checkmate.

A variant of the selfmate is the reflexmate.
